Online event "Bonding science and policy to accelerate food systems transformation"

Thursday, February 4, 2021 - 10.00-16.30 CET

To transform our food systems and ensure their contribution to the Agenda 2030, urgent progress is needed by both applied science to provide relevant knowledge and policy arena to act.

This also challenges the interface mechanisms between scientific evidence and policy design. This high level event will mobilise dialogue across multiple perspectives to achieve greater alignment and action on a common direction of travel towards healthy and sustainable food systems.

Exploring the latest research and policy related advances with a “real-world” lens, it will make a significant contribution to the debate on both where to put combined efforts and how to strengthen science-policy linkages towards the United Nations Food Systems Summit and beyond.
