Promoting productive employment and decent work in rural areas

The course consists of 6 short lessons which will introduce you to the concepts of productive employment and decent work and its relevance for food and nutrition security and rural poverty reduction. The course also provides guidance on how to integrate employment and decent work considerations into agricultural strategies and programmes.

The course is highly relevant for all those who work on programmes and projects which affect rural livelihoods. It will provide you with a technical guidance on how to address specific challenges faced by rural workers, especially the most vulnerable ones, like young women and men, in accessing decent farm and non-farm employment.
