Contributions to the 33rd issue of the Asia-Pacific Agroforestry Newsletter (APANews)

Greetings!

We are inviting contributions to the 33rd issue of the Asia-Pacific Agroforestry Newsletter (APANews) on or before 30 June 2008.

We welcome articles that highlight relevant undertakings in agroforestry research, promotion and development, and education and training.
We are also particularly interested in articles that demonstrate agroforestry's capabilities to cope with climate change, contribute to biodiversity conservation, combat desertification, and address other key development issues today.

If you're interested in sharing your agroforestry initiatives, please refer to the following guidelines for article contributions:

1. Contents of the articles may be:
· research results
· agroforestry extension and advocacy projects
· announcements (conferences, symposiums, training opportunities, and other activities)
· new publications
· relevant websites
· other activities that promote agroforestry knowledge sharing and networking opportunities
2. Use the popular writing style. This style makes use of layman terms and presents the article in a straightforward manner. Articles that are written using the scientific journal writing style are returned to the authors for rewriting.

3. Limit the size of the articles to 1000-1500 words only.

4. You may include photographs that are individually scanned at 300 dpi resolution. The photographs should be properly labeled and referred to in the text. Please send the photographs as separate JPEG files (1 file=1 picture).

5. Make sure that you include your complete contact details: name, position, organization, address of organization, and E-mail address. This will guide the readers should they have clarifications and/or further inquiries regarding your article.
Kindly send your articles through E-mail as attachments or via snail mail (printed and electronic formats) to:
