National Geographic Society — Big Cats Initiative

National Geographic invites innovative projects for saving lions, tigers, cheetahs, leopards, and other big cats in the wild. Proposals can focus on anti-poaching programs; interventions leading to declines in big cat mortality; projects that test new technology; educational projects focused on community; and economic incentives for local people to ensure long-term survival of big cats. For cheetahs, conservation proposals should seek to fulfill the recommendations from formal regional strategies and national action plans. Eligibility for grants extends to field-based conservationists, environmental educators, students, and researchers. Proposals are accepted anytime. Link
