The Waislitz Global Citizen Award is an annual cash prize recognizing the excellence of one individual in their work to end extreme poverty. The winner is invited to New York to attend the Global Citizen Live event where they receive $100 thousand. Two Semi-Finalists, the Global Citizens Choice Award and the Youth Innovation Award (for applicants under 35) will each receive $50 thousand.
