Call for YPARD France delegation for the Planet A forum

YPARD is seeking young enthusiastic YPARDians to be part of the delegation to attend the second edition of the Forum planet A, which will be held on 27 and 28 June in Châlons-en-Champagne. The forum is placed under the high patronage of Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.

Planet A proposes a global and cross-disciplinary reflection which brought together, during its 2018 edition, 350 high-level international experts, professionals and decision-makers who came to exchange on their knowledge and research, to compare their points of view, bro dean their thinking and learn on replicable good practices. This year, the debates will focus on the soil issue under the title: Earth, matter, planet: soil quality for the health of life"

Soil is to be considered as a living entity. Its quality and health are crucial in determining the quality of life of plants, animals, people, and all ecosystems. Soil’s capacity for carbon capture and storage gives it a key role in climate regulation and air quality.


The annual Planet A Forum is an international, multidisciplinary and apolitical event that puts agriculture back in its rightful place, placing it as a source of solutions to the big issues that humanity faces, be they demographic, environmental, energy?related, social and societal, economic or geopolitical. The forum offers comprehensive, cross?disciplinary thinking. The first edition in 2018 brought together 350 high?level international experts and professionals, who came to exchange their knowledge and research, compare points of view, and discover new ways of thinking and replicable best practice.
