Programme quality support officer (volunteer) for Armenia

Brief description of mission or/and project for which the staff is required:

PIN Armenia is currently implementing both development and humanitarian projects. The Country Programme is aiming at strengthening its fundraising in the development sector using the possibilities of open calls and also through proactive networking and fundraising. We have created the position of Programme Quality Support Officer (PQSO) to assist us in reaching these goals under the supervision and support of Country Director and to backstop programme quality and reporting. Additionally, PQSO role should be to support the process of:

Position Title: Programme Quality Support Officer (Volunteer/Intern)
Location: Yerevan, with travel to regions
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension

PIN Armenia is currently implementing both development and humanitarian projects. The Country Programme is aiming at strengthening its fundraising in the development sector using the possibilities of open calls and also through proactive networking and fundraising. We have created the position of Programme Quality Support Officer (PQSO) to assist us in reaching these goals under the supervision and support of Country Director and to backstop programme quality and reporting. Additionally, PQSO role should be to support the process of:

i) updating PIN Armenia Country Strategy (2018-2022) considering the recent developments in Armenia and the COVID aftermath as well as 
ii) designing the 2021-2022 Action Plan based on that.

This is an entry-level international position, flook for a young professional with experience of NGO work and has a strategic thinking approach, analytical and research skills.

The successful candidate will gain experience across diverse programmes and sectors as part of a dynamic and friendly team.

PIN offers:

  • Locally competitive allowance according to the PIN Volunteer scale: 1,200 EUR per month
