Welcoming our new Program Coordinator, Edoardo Corriere!

 

We are thrilled to welcome our new Program Coordinator, Edoardo Corriere to the Global Coordinating Unit at YPARD.

Edoardo is a multilingual professional from Italy with extensive experience working with Rome-based UN Agencies (RBAs), including the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). His international exposure, cultivated through years of travel, complements his strong interpersonal skills, enabling him to navigate diverse cultural and linguistic landscapes adeptly. With a keen appreciation for cultural diversity, Edoardo thrives in multicultural settings, excelling both independently and as part of a team.

Educated in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) at the Bachelor's level and with a Double Master's Degree in International Relations, Edoardo further honed his expertise through executive programs and specialized courses, including one on Food and Sustainability sponsored by IFAD and conducted by the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability. Passionate about sustainable development, human rights, and food security, Edoardo leverages his communicative prowess and organizational acumen to address complex challenges. His experience ranges from facilitating and moderating high-level events to crafting impactful messaging on environmental and agricultural issues.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Edoardo is an accomplished author and certified padel tennis trainer. His hobbies range from arts and crafts to acting and music. Coming from Rome, he enjoys good food, likes to meet new people and socialize.

With a commitment to knowledge sharing and youth empowerment in the agricultural and development sectors, Edoardo seeks to design educational programs tailored to emerging professionals. In his capacity as Program Coordinator, he will specifically be managing YPARD's role in the EU Commission funded GP-SAEP Project, and will be overseeing YPARD's policy advocacy work, along with other responsibilities. His vision emphasizes accessibility, relevance, and interactivity, aiming to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge. Through engaging initiatives, he aims to cultivate a new generation of agricultural leaders poised to effect positive change.
