The purpose of the Youth Strategy is to boost the engagement of young people in agriculture and rural development (ARD) for the growth of ACP agricultural economies and to improve youth livelihoods. It will achieve this by facilitating the development of targeted policies, sustaining young professionalsÂ’ engagement in ARD, enhancing their capacity to use ICT for agriculture, supporting their innovations, and ensuring that they reap full benefits from improved value chains.
