All applicants must provide with their application a 750 word statement entitled, "Why I would like to enroll in the MPhil in Conservation Leadership and how my background provides the relevant leadership experience for the course." This should be submitted along with all other supporting documentation through the Graduate Admissions Office website.
Requirements for application
- Applicants for the MPhil in Geographical Research and the MPhil in Polar Studies will need to provide an outline of a research plan for a possible dissertation, indicating the general problem to be addressed, the specific issues to be researched, and an indication of methodology (no more than 750 words in total).
- Your application will need to include information explaining your motivation for the MPhil and details of any employment or other non-academic experience relevant to the subject of the MPhil.
- You will need to indicate if you wish to continue to PhD research after completing the MPhil.
- Applicants for the MPhil in Conservation Leadership will need to provide a 750-word statement of purpose, entitled "Why I would like to enroll in the MPhil in Conservation Leadership, and how my background provides the relevant leadership experience for the course".
- Applicants for the MPhil in Polar Studies will need to include with their application a sample of their written work (between 3,000 and 5,000 words)
