CARE International in Myanmar is looking to fill the position of Program Officer (Agronomist) in Rathedaung, Rakhine State. The role is responsible for the assessment, design and implementation of the agricultural activities of CARE’s Rakhine State projects. The role also plays an important part in ensuring that projects are designed in accordance with project guidelines and that they effectively contribute to CARE’s rural development projects in Rathedaung Township and Maungdaw District.
We are looking for applicants who are interested in working in an exciting and challenging environment with experience in rural development projects in conflict or post conflict environment. Your experience in designing and developing appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems for agricultural interventions as well as your ability to build capacity and high level organisational skills will make you an ideal candidate for this role. Your strong communication and influencing skills, including ability to manage complex and diverse stakeholder relationships will set you apart from others.
