Agropolis Fondation is co-implementing the One Planet Fellowship Programme - OPFP which is a 4 year program aiming to build capacities and to create a network of African and European researchers collaborating together in the field of Climate Change and Agriculture in Africa.

This mentoring program is an opportunity for European students (EU country nationals only - bachelor, masters and PhD students) to do an internship in Africa, in one the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo and Zambia.  Each young European scientists will be paired with a mentor, who is a  laureate of the One Planet Fellowship (Young African researcher). The internship should start with a Mentoring Orientation Workshop in Nairobi Kenya, and it should be followed by an internship of 2 to 4 weeks in the home country of their mentor. A one year follow up on the project is ensured after the internship, through online monthly meetings. The project developed during this mentoring program is defined between the mentee and their mentor.
