FAO Virtual Career Fair for the Young Talent

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger.

With over 194 member states, FAO works in over 130 countries worldwide. They believe that everyone can play a part in ending hunger, yet they cannot realize that goal without the help of youth and young talent.

Join FAO in creating a #ZeroHunger world! We need your innovative ideas and enthusiasm.

FAO Virtual Career Fair for the Young Talent on Thursday, 7 October, will introduce FAO opportunities for young professionals and students.

Young Professionals Programme, Associate Professional Officers (APO) Programme, and Interns, Volunteers and Fellows Programme teams as well as the FAO colleagues from the headquarters and five regions will welcome you at their stall.

  • The positions of Young Professionals Programme (YPP) will be announced soon! Stay tuned and check the FAO employment website.
  • Interns, Volunteers and Fellows (IVF) opportunities are available throughout the year. IVF Programme provides a meaningful learning experience in an international organization, while contributing participants’ expertise to international development activities fighting against hunger.
  • Associate Professional Officers (APO) Programme offers a structured learning experience to young graduates, as well as exposure to international cooperation activities, while enabling them to apply their technical specialization.

Other FAO job opportunities will also be presented at 10 diverse stalls.
