A side event for the Pre-COP in Italy #All4Climate: Driving global youth action for climate adaptation in food systems on 29 September 2021 | 13:00 – 16:00 CET.
In the context of the global pledge, this hybrid event is developed for youth from all around the globe to participate and engage in the efforts and movements around food security under a changing climate. The event will consist of 2 sessions – the first session “Paving the way for youth-led action for climate adaptation in food systems” will feature a keynote presentation followed by a roundtable featuring vlog presentations of 3 youth climate leaders from different regions that will showcase examples of youth-led efforts. The vlog aims to inspire further youth-led action around the world. The second session “Mobilizing Youth-POWER for COP26: The rise of a global movement” will be chaired by a youth activist and influencer to introduce a global pledge movement to gather 10 million signatures of young people across the globe, to push for nutrition and food system transformation.
