Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD) calls for urgent, youth-led efforts to address agriculture's role as both a contributor to and victim of climate change. In anticipation of COP29, YPARD proposes a comprehensive framework for transforming food systems through sustainable agricultural practices.

6. Just Transition and Youth Migration in Agriculture
7. Better Market Access and Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA)
8. Finance for Youth-Led Projects and Loss and Damage Compensation
9. Early Warning Systems and Risk Management

YPARD’s Vision for COP29: YPARD envisions a resilient, food-secure future where youth are integral to sustainable food systems. This vision calls for bold climate action, particularly in the Global South, and youth-inclusive policies that engage young professionals in agricultural decision-making.

Call to Action: Ahead of COP29, YPARD urges global leaders to champion youth participation in climate discussions and to invest in climate-smart agriculture, youth-led research, and capacity-building to fortify food systems against climate threats.
